Education of networks of persons with disabilities for advocacy, labbying and civic participation in decision making

A two-day education "Advocacy, lobbying and civic participation in decision-making" for persons with disabilities, members of two networks of persons with disabilities was held in Teslic, from 23. to 24.09.2019.

This education was organized to improve the understanding and knowledge of 23 representatives of Network of women with disabilities and Network of mine survivors from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the area of civic participation and engagement in decision-making processes. Focus of education was on equipping the participants with methods, techniques, tools and approaches to achieve greater success in influencing public policies.

Education, led by Aleksandar Zivanovic, Master of Sociological Sciences, was implemented within project "Communities of Different But Equal Citizens", supported by European Union and implemented by Organization UDAS, Helsinški parlament gradjana Banja Luka and Association Nesto Vise Sarajevo.
